Mechanical Engineering Students' Association (MESA)

The Mechanical Engineering Students' Association (MESA) is the official student body of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. MESA serves as a platform to encourage leadership, technical excellence, creativity, teamwork, and overall personality development of students through various academic, technical, cultural, and extracurricular activities.

At the beginning of every academic year, MESA conducts a democratic election process during the first half of the semester. Through this election, 11 student representatives are elected from the Mechanical Engineering Department to form the MESA Executive Committee. The elected committee is responsible for planning, organizing, and successfully executing various activities throughout the academic year under the guidance of the MESA Coordinator, Prof. Dinesh C. Mahale, and with the support of department faculty members.

MESA organizes a wide range of activities aimed at enhancing students' technical knowledge, practical skills, leadership qualities, and professional ethics. The major activities conducted by MESA include:

MESA provides students with valuable opportunities to develop organizational and leadership skills while promoting innovation, teamwork, and lifelong learning. Through its diverse activities, the association bridges the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations, motivating students to become competent engineers and responsible professionals.
