Welcome to the Training & Placement cell of SSVPS’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering, Dhule the right place for the students to convert their abilities into success with ethics. At SSVPS we always believe in equipping our students with the right talent and personality to face the industry requirements. Our focus on placement centers on creating new approaches to attract the best from the industry to our campus. College management has always given special emphasis on training & placements activities.
Training and Placement Cell plays a vital role and has become a key department of the Institute. As there are more Engineering Colleges coming up, the competition for employment is increasing every day and the job placement is becoming a challenging one. We groom our students in their chosen discipline and also broaden their mindset, make them think positively and impart correct English spoken and soft skills thus equipping them with all qualities to make them a valuable asset in whichever organization that they might join in the future.
We believe that the success achieved with ethics is important in life. We are very much confident that our students will make a significant impact in their future organizations. The T&P team comprises of Training and Placement officer, Training Incharge, Department coordinators, Assistant staff, technical support staff and students representatives. The team of student representatives from all branches aims at making students involve in the planning and execution of T&P activities along with the T&P department coordinator. This makes them a part of the process and helps in inducing responsibility and confidence.
Placement Cell Facilities
The institute has a separate full-fledge Training & Placement department well equipped with ample manpower and infrastructure with the following facilities in order to assist companies in training and recruitment process.

The Placement & Training Cell handles training and placement activities of the Engineering Management students of the institute. It provides a launch pad for students to make it to the best organization and functions with the primary aim of placing students in good companies even before they have completed their courses.
The Training & Placement cell goes all out to train the students to meet the industry expectations. The T&P team is involved in various activities with an aim to achieve maximum placement, some of the key activities are as:
- Prepare well planned information brochures & Multimedia presentation to showcase our institute and highlight our achievements.
- Identify, collaborate & invite the prospective companies/organizations for the campus recruitment.
- Establish a set-up for smooth & efficient conduction of Training & Placement activities including setting up a placement office, training centre, seminar rooms etc.
- Guiding the students regarding their career, placement and about pursuing higher education.
- Training the students on various interview techniques, group discussions & aptitude tests.
- Conducting Mock test, GD’s, and session on personality & career development for students to perform better in the campus recruitment process.
- Organizing guest lectures, Seminars and ensure active interaction with various organization and industries.
- Facilitating and inviting professional trainers to enhance the soft skills and analytical skills of the students.
- Arrange industrial visits for students to understand real life practices, concepts and processes.
- Maintaining the up to date database of students and employers/industry.
