E-Bike Competition

Huge Success of the Club Mission e-Vehicle.

Shri Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha's Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering, Dhule, has established a student's club, Mission e-Vehicle*. The motif of the club is to create awareness about electric vehicles among the students. Students from Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering are the active members of the club.

The E-Bike Challenge 2024 competition was recently organized by ISIE India in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The team 'S-Sparks' from the college competed in the competition with more than 60 other teams from the various engineering colleges. The students of the club successfully transformed the old petrol bike into an electrical bike; qualifying for the technical round, the team secured 7th rank at the national level. The team also bagged several awards in various categories, like the Best Vehicle Run on Mode Award, the Future Award and the Faculty Award.

Prof. Abhijit Choudhary as coordinator and Prof. Dr. Jayshree Bhamre as co-coordinator of Mission E Vehicle Club took efforts for the event, Students received guidance from Prof. Dr. SanjeevSuryavanshi, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department. The assistance of every member of the Mechanical Engineering Department's teaching and non-teaching personnel was also sought while manufacturing the electric bike. Dr. Hitendra Patil, the principal, congratulated the students and offered them best wishes for the future.

The President of Sri Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha, Hon. Baba Saheb Kunal Patil and the President of the College, Hon. Dadasaheb Subhash Deore also congratulated the students for this remarkable achievement and wished them all the best for the future.
