Sports Event Oct '25 Wrestling

It is an utmost proud moment for our college that in the recently held inter-zonal sports competition our student contingents performed with high spirits and won the meritious accolades for themselves as well as the college.

The inter-zonal events were conducted under the Dr. Babsaheb Ambedkar Technical University, Lonar academic regime and the event was held at Satara.

Of the 200 number of participants that hailed from six different regions and universities of the state, our Final Year Civil Engineering student and wrestler Mr. Harshavardhan Avinash Sonawane competed under one of the toughest weight category i.e. the Open Weight Category and won the prestigious Gold Medal. He is further selected to represent the university in the forthcomming University / National level sports competetions which are scheduled to be held at Chandigarh in the month of January 2026.

In the same event, our Second Year B. Tech, Department of Mechanical Engineering student, Wrestler Mr. Rushikesh Kishor Patil competed in the 80 Kg weight category and won the Silver Medal.

We take deep pride in complimenting the entire sports contingent from our college and wish Harshavardhan Sonawane and Rushikesh Patil the very best for their future performances.

We also commend the good work and able guidence of our Coach and Sports in charge, Prof. Manoj Chaudhari for his unquivering efforts towards keeping the students physically fit and motivated to participate and win in such events.
