Inspiring Expert Talk on Indian Army Careers
The Mechanical Engineering Department organized an inspiring expert talk on career opportunities in the Indian Army, motivating students to explore a path of discipline, service, and patriotism.
The session was delivered by Havaldar Pravin Bhaskar Patil, a proud native of Henkervadi, Taluka and District Dhule, who has rendered 23 years of dedicated service in the Indian Army. Currently serving in the 269 Engineering Regiment at the Line of Control (LOC), Tawang, Havaldar Patil shared his valuable experiences and insights with the students.
During the session, he provided detailed guidance on the Indian Army recruitment process, eligibility criteria, and preparation strategies. He emphasized the importance of physical fitness, mental strength, and unwavering dedication for aspiring candidates. His real-life experiences from service deeply inspired students and instilled a strong sense of national pride and responsibility.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Havaldar Patil was felicitated by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. S. D. Suryawanshi, in recognition of his service and contribution. All faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department were present on the occasion.
The event successfully achieved its objective of creating awareness about defense careers and encouraging students to contribute to the nation through service in the armed forces.
