Dhule, October 9, 2025:
An Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) was successfully conducted at S.S.V.P.’s B.S. Deore College of Engineering, fostering a spirit of innovation and self-reliance among students across all engineering branches. The one-day program was organized by the institution’s E-Cell in association with the MSME Technology Centre, Indo German Tool Room, Aurangabad, and received an enthusiastic response from participants.

The session was delivered by Mr. Vikas Atmaram Gophane from the MSME Technology Centre, who provided an engaging overview of the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. His talk covered crucial aspects such as idea generation, business planning, innovation, and the various government support schemes available for aspiring entrepreneurs. He emphasized the growing importance of entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career option, encouraging students to think beyond traditional employment and explore opportunities to build their own ventures.

Mr. Gophane also highlighted several initiatives under the Ministry of MSME, offering insights into funding schemes, skill development programs, incubation facilities, and institutional support systems available for start-ups. His practical guidance helped students understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into sustainable business models through structured planning and effective execution.

The program achieved its primary objective of creating awareness about entrepreneurship among engineering students. Participants gained valuable knowledge about idea validation, market analysis, financial planning, risk management, and the legal aspects of establishing a business. The session also underscored the role of innovation and technology in shaping modern enterprises.

Students expressed strong motivation following the session, with many showing keen interest in participating in E-Cell initiatives, start-up activities, and innovation-driven competitions. The program contributed to the development of key entrepreneurial qualities such as leadership, resilience, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering played a significant role in the successful execution of the program. The activity was organized and coordinated by Prof. Shivnath Ramsamujh Singh. The initiative was funded by the E-Cell of the institution, reflecting its continued commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent within the campus.

Overall, the Entrepreneurship Awareness Program proved to be a meaningful step toward cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among students, equipping them with the confidence, knowledge, and resources needed to embark on successful business ventures in the future.
