District Level Project Presentation

A two-day District Level Research Presentation Workshop and Competition for Dhule and Nandurbar districts was successfully organized on 18th and 19th January 2024. The event was jointly conducted by the Department of Student Development, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (KBCNMU), Jalgaon, and Vidya Vardhini Sabha’s Dr. M. Y. Vaidya Arts, Dr. P. D. Dalal Commerce, and Dr. D. S. Shah Science College, Dhule.

The workshop aimed to encourage students’ research aptitude, innovation, and technical presentation skills through a competitive and collaborative platform. It brought together talented young minds from various institutes across Dhule and Nandurbar districts.

From Shree Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering, Dhule, a total of 19 students from the Mechanical Engineering Department actively participated in this research presentation competition.

The participating students presented their innovative project ideas and models demonstrating creativity, problem-solving skills, and engineering design knowledge. The projects covered a wide range of topics aligned with the current industrial and societal challenges.

The two-day program witnessed enthusiastic participation from 335 students representing various colleges from Dhule and Nandurbar districts. The sessions included research paper presentations, poster displays, model demonstrations, and expert interactions with evaluators from academia and industry.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to share their innovative research work, receive feedback from experts, and gain exposure to interdisciplinary domains of science and technology. It also encouraged collaborative learning and inspired participants to continue pursuing innovative research projects.

Among the participating teams, our institute achieved a remarkable milestone when Mr. Pushparaj Sanjay Deore, a Second-Year Mechanical Engineering student, secured the First Rank in the competition.

His project, titled “Retrofitted Electric Bike,” was highly appreciated by the judges for its innovation, sustainability approach, and practical implementation towards green mobility. This achievement highlights the technical excellence and creativity of our students under the guidance of our dedicated faculty members.

The District Level Research Presentation Workshop and Competition proved to be a highly enriching experience for all participants. It provided a valuable platform for showcasing innovative ideas, promoting research culture, and fostering academic collaboration among institutions.The management and faculty of Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering, Dhule, express their appreciation to KBCNMU, Jalgaon and Vidya Vardhini Sabha’s Dr. M. Y. Vaidya College, Dhule, for organizing this event and providing students with an opportunity to present their work.

Special congratulations are extended to Mr. Pushparaj Sanjay Deore for bringing laurels to the institute by achieving First Rank in the competition. The Mechanical Engineering Department continues to motivate and guide students to participate in similar research-oriented events in the future.
