To bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at S.S.V.P.S’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering successfully organized a 4-Day Hands-on Practice Workshop on “Industrial Approach in Electronics & Telecommunication” for Second-Year (SE) E&TC Engineering students.
The workshop was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to electronic components, communication circuits, and industrial practices that are essential for a successful engineering career. In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, industries seek engineers who possess not only theoretical knowledge but also strong hands-on skills. Recognizing this need, the department designed the workshop to offer experiential learning opportunities that complemented classroom teaching.
Throughout the four days, students actively engaged in laboratory-based activities involving electronic devices, circuit design, testing procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and communication system fundamentals. Participants gained valuable insights into the functioning of industrial-grade components and learned how theoretical concepts are applied in real-world engineering applications.
The workshop created an interactive learning environment where students were encouraged to experiment, analyze, and solve practical engineering problems. Faculty members and technical experts guided the participants, helping them develop confidence in handling equipment and understanding industry-oriented methodologies.
The initiative received an enthusiastic response from students, who appreciated the opportunity to enhance their technical competence and practical understanding. Such programs play a crucial role in preparing future engineers for professional challenges and improving their employability.
The Department of E&TC Engineering remains committed to organizing similar industry-focused activities that promote innovation, skill development, and professional excellence among students, thereby strengthening the connection between education and industry.
